What do Student Ministry Prayer Partners Do?
Prayer partners are adults and students (middle school, high school, and college-age) who make a commitment to pray daily for and to encourage a particular person in our church. This relationship lasts until the student graduates from college, is married, or turns age twenty-five. Students and adults will participate voluntarily in this ministry. *We only want adults who are not parents of students to participate. Parents of students are already pouring into their own children and probably other students as well.* • A prayer partner is not a “super-Christian” or “mighty-person-of-prayer”–just a regular person who is growing in his or her relationship with Christ. • A prayer partner keeps his or her partner covered in prayer every day and offers words of encouragement from time to time. • A prayer partner’s relationship with his or her prayer partner grows as the prayer partner is faithful month after month and year after year to provide prayer support and encouragement to his or her p
