What do South Dakota corps members do after they finish their two-year commitment?
Many of our alumni continue to teach in their original placements beyond their two-year commitment. Most move into positions of school leadership, be it on their leadership teams or stepping into a department chair position. Other alumni join Teach For America staff, or go on to pursue jobs and graduate school in the fields of education, law, medicine, policy, and engineering. They continue to advocate for educational equity, particularly where it relates to Native American and rural education.
