What do PI insurance policies exclude?
PI insurance policies have a number of exclusions that restrict cover. Many exclusions are common across a number of policies. Some of these include: • Insured vs Insured Claims • Claims arising out of Bodily Injury and Property Damage • Claims arising out of any kind of Pollution • Prior/Known Circumstances • Claims arising out of Trade Debts of Insolvency • Contractual Liability There are often other exclusions in addition to these, therefore it is important that you read the policy wording.
