What do people who immigrate to India do regarding long term immunisations,for malaria, yellow fever etc?
u need not to much worry about immunization while visiting India for long duration, only u have to take few precautions, malaria is not as much common problem in India as it is in African countries, till now there is no case of yellow fever found in India. but it is compulsory for any visitor going to India to get yellow fever vaccine to check infection coming to country. now about the precautions, diaherrial disease are common in india to prevent that consume only mineral water, avoid uncooked items, salads, milk products (unpacked), though fried is thought to be unhealthy but it is very safe in view of food poisioning, safe milk products in india are of amul, mother dairy. till date there is no vaccine of malaria, only recommonded prophylaxis is oral tabs of various antimalarials that to are to be taken frequently and have lots of side effects, safety in pregency is not sure, one choloquine is safer in pregnency is reserved for tretment of malaria in pregnency. no one in india take p
