What do people who are blind do for a living?
In general, people who are blind can do many of the same things that fully sighted people do with some reasonable exceptions. In certain cases, these exceptions may depend upon the degree of residual vision. For example, a person with low vision may work as a chef, doctor or school teacher; however this same individual may not pursue a career in aviation, since this profession requires a high degree of visual resolution and efficiency.
