What do OSH professionals do?
A. Occupational health and safety professionals provide a valuable asset to industry, government and research organizations in controlling losses associated with accidents, injuries and illnesses. These professionals are trained to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control hazards. These actions may range from the development of safe operating procedures to sampling for contaminants and designing ventilation systems; all of which reduce employee exposures.
