What do Organizational Psychologists do?
Organizational psychologists work both within organizations and as independent consultants. They apply psychological principles and research methods to the workplace in the interest of improving productivity and the quality of work life. Many serve as human resources specialists, helping organizations with staffing, training, and employee development,t and employee morale and retention. Others work as systems consultants in the areas of leadership, team-building, strategic planning, quality management, and facilitating organizational change.
