Therefore, nurses were chosen as subjects for this research, which aimed to identify how they feel about computerisation in their workplace. The aim was to identify and explore nurses’ attitudes, behaviours, their stress levels at work when working with computers; the perceived barriers to using technology when delivering care to their patients; their perceived role of technology in their workplace; their perceived views of how to blend in technology with delivering holistic care to patients and their patients comments (if any) regarding workplace computerisation A random selection of 1000 registered nurses in Queensland were sent a questionnaire to complete and 33% responded.
