What do noodles, SPAM, and octopus balls all have in common?
… they’re all good to eat. Fujiichiban Menu Pics of some of my meals this past week After we closed the store, the four of us (Lillian, Jeff, Matt and myself), went out to a 24 hour noodle bar. Mmmmm noodles! (That’s a picture of the restaurant menu – I got #9). I figure this is probably a good time to show a little collage of some of the food I ate while on my trip. Just a quick note about the Ramen noodles: “these noodles should not be confused with the poor substitute sold in plastic packets in American supermarkets ” Ok, now that we got that out of the way … Top left is (I don’t remember the name) egg and pork over fried rice from the Aji-Ichi … very good. Top right is the Taiwan Chashu Ramen from the Fujiichiban … Bottom left I actually got for breakfast at Denny’s (Don’t ask why we went to eat at Denny’s … I’m not really sure myself..?) … but it wasn’t too bad – It was off the local menu … fish, eggs and fried rice.
