What do Native Americans Look Like?
Native Americans come in all shapes, sizes and colors. To be considered Native American, a person only has to contain 1/8th Native American blood. But they are still considered Native American. If some lived where there was a lot of sunshine, they tended to have darker skin. If some lived more north, like present day New York, then they were lighter skinned. Even though stereotypes might say Native Americans have long dark hair and dark skin, this is not accurate, because Native Americans have a diverse history.
