What do Natal Pluto and Mercury retrograde indicate in reference to past lives?
Retro planets seem to have to do with a past life abuse of power and/or poor choices in relation to the planet’s house position. Pluto will have to do with power struggles. Mercury will of course have to do with communication. Interesting that your retro planets are in aspect to each other. The house placements are interesting too. The lessons of the two are definitely related. Looks like you focused a bit much on the superficial aspects of relationships in the past… maybe being a bit too controlling. Retro planets can be similar to our S Node in that they pull us into old patterns of behavior. It is sometimes easier to react to something that happened in the past rather than dealing with the here and now. Trust and honesty are likely issues. The good news is that given the aspects to your retro planets these “issues” are from only a few lifetimes rather than a definitive pattern throughout your soul’s history. They will be easier to deal with than if the retro planets received alot
