What do Muslims believe about Jesus being the son of God?
First of all you have to know that the Bible is a compilation of books that have been forged, falsified and tempered with. The evidence about this is the numerous contradictions between various accounts in the Bible. But the Bible still contains some true texts, like giving glad tidings about the coming of another Prophet, who was Muhammad, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, and that Jesus (‘Eesaa), may Allaah exalt his mention, is a slave and servant of Allaah, and not the son of Allaah as they claim. Ibn Al-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy upon him, stated some of these contradictions, like: The Gospel according to Mark: “A man came to the Messiah and said: “O, good teacher! What good deed shall I do to obtain eternal life? So the Messiah replied: “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except One- that is God.” (Mark 10:18) So the man did not address the Messiah as God.
