There is a lot to it! You assess a lot of legal/jurisdiction questions but you are also a special agent like anyone else and will spend time in the field. It is just as dangerous as any other FBI job. Lawyers are highly in demand at the FBI. A lawyer can see a crime situation from a different angle, they see it from the angle of what will work in court… and after all that is the whole point right? Get the conviction. There are far more lawyers than typical law jobs. But other opportunities, like working with the FBI, state department, military, and private businesses make it possible for a lawyer to hold almost any job.
