What do I need to watch Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 channels on BT Vision?
In order to take BT Vision, you need BT Total Broadband with a minimum line speed of 2Mbps. You also need to have a suitable aerial and live in a Freeview area where you can access Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 (check your Freeview on the right). These digital TV channels are delivered via Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) through your aerial. The number of channels that you can access is driven by the quality of your signal, and is influenced by whether you have undergone Digital Switchover (DSO). If you live in an area that has already gone through Digital Switchover and you are currently able to watch ITV4 or if you haven’t yet gone through Digital Switchover but can watch CBeebies, you should be able to access Sky Sports 1 and 2 on BT Vision. You will also need a viewing card and a subscription with BT Vision to one of the Sky Sports channels. When the viewing card arrives, insert it into your Vision+ box as per the instructions and tune your TV to channel 41 for Sky Sports 1 or
