The Japanese and US version consoles are 60Hz NTSC output consoles and require 110v power supply. Depending on your countries power supply, you will have anywhere from 110v (US/Japan/Asian etc.) to 240v (Europe/Australia/New Zealand etc.). All consoles we sell are transformed to 240v for use in any country, regardless of the power supply you have. The transformers are included free of charge when purchasing a console. If you live a country that uses 110v, you do not need the transformer and can ask for it to be left out to reduce shipping costs. There are four general types of TVs available: Multi-System, NTSC only, 50/60HZ PAL only and 50Hz PAL only. The Japan and US version PS2 will work on any Multi-System or NTSC compatible TV. Most newer TVs are Multi-System, meaning they can accept a signal from anywhere in the world (PAL, SECAM or NTSC). If you own a PAL only TV, you will only get a black and white signal unless you use a PAL Converter (which are available separately) to convert
