InstantPresenter has a “Screen Sharing Plug-in” that must be installed to utilize Screen Sharing. For Internet Explorer on Windows, this is a small ActiveX control. For Firefox or Safari on either Mac or Windows, this is a Java Applet. Either way, it only takes 1 minute to install, and only the presenters who wish to share their screen need to do it. Viewers don’t have to install anything.
