What do I need to place an online quote and order via Materialise OnSite?
There are 3 ways to quote online and place a Materialise OnSite order, using: • Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer + STL File Analyzer The STL File Analyzer is the most advisable option. It is a small piece of software that inspects STL files and allows secure quotations. We recommend using it to benefit from the latest OnSite features. The STL File Analyzer Software plugin installation is offered as soon as you come to the quotation pages (only when it is not yet installed on your PC). • Next Day Application This is a conventional way of part ordering inherited from the Next Day service. The more conservative customers are still able to place orders using the Next Day Application, though we do encourage them to try our latest STL File Analyzer implementation described above. • Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer (Manual Quotations Only) If for some reason, the STL File Analyzer or the Next Day Application are unavailable to you, you will still be able to place an order by uploading your files
