Opening an account can be completed in 2 steps: • Fill out the application form and submit it online. In order to complete this step, we ask that you provide some information to help us confirm your identity, such as your Social Insurance Number (SIN), address and occupation. Remember that customers need to be Canadian residents, excluding residents of Quebec, who are of the legal age in their province or territory of residence. • Send us a personalized cheque for any amount, made out to yourself, that is drawn on your bank account at another Canadian Financial Institution. Once received, we will deposit the funds into your KeyRate Savings Account or KeyReturn GIC. Please note the cheque must be made out for an amount and must be preprinted with your name and address.
