What do I need to know about the National Safety Councils Online First Aid, CPR, and AED Course?
• The Internet-based First Aid, CPR and AED program is based on the content contained in the National Safety Councils 5 hour Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED classroom-based course. • Once you have completed the Internet-based portion of the First Aid, CPR and AED, you will receive a print out stating that you have completed the didactic portion of the course. If you are interested in receiving a course completion card, you will have to skill test at a National Safety Council training center. To locate a NSC training center where you can be skill tested, call Customer Service at 1-800-621-7619. • The Internet based First Aid, CPR and AED program is separated into eleven sessions followed by a Post-Test. • You may exit the course and re-enter as a Returning Student as many times as you would like. • You have two opportunities to pass the post-test. • The system will keep track of your progress. • Once you have registered, you will have 45 days to complete the training before your access
