What do i need to know about petrol powered RC cars?
There are two types of petrol powered rc cars one can run on regular pump fuel and the other runs on nitro fuel. The cars that run on regular pump fuel are the large 1/5 scale cars. They are more expensive to buy upfront but there is the savings on the fuel over the long run. The cars that run on nitro fuel come in a variety of sizes with the most common being 1/8 and 1/10 scale. They are generally less expensive than the 1/5 scale cars but the price of the nitro fuel is much higher. I really like the Redcat Racing brand for newbies to the hobby. I like them because they have a lifetime engine warranty, they have tons and tons of how to videos on youtube that give you step by step instruction on how to run and maintain the car and finally they are less expensive then many of the other brands while being very durable.
