What do I need to know about packaging and shipping the books Im selling?
Pack your books securely in a box or carton so they are not damaged in transit. A box is preferred over a padded mailer or other envelope, as these methods provide less protection. We do NOT recommend the use of styrofoam packing “peanuts” as they do not provide adequate stability for your books. Use carton sealing tape to securely seal the box. Do not use scotch or masking tape. Cover up or mark out any addresses and barcodes from prior mailings. We HIGHLY recommend that you retain a proof of mailing receipt for your records because we are unable to accept responsibility for packages you ship that do not arrive at our warehouse. Unless you can provide delivery confirmation (i.e. by using a trackable method of delivery), we are not responsible for any loss, theft or damages incurred during delivery to our warehouse. Any claims will be between the sender and its carrier, i.e., the U.S. Postal Service.
