• Answer: There are instances in which you will need to add a no-pay academic appointment for an employee who is currently already in the IU system. This is not a problem, and the appointment is basically the same as other no-pay appointments, except that, on the Administrative Post, the field “Title Appointment Type” must be set to “Regular” to match the existing paying appointment.
