All hunters, regardless of age, need a valid hunter safety course. Next hunters need a valid hunting license from Kentucky or Tennessee for the type of game being hunted. Soldiers on leave have an exception. Finally hunters need a Ft. Campbell post permit. Hunting permits are for either big game or small game and combination permits are available for all types of game. Post permits are good for 1 year and run from March to February, just like a license. Licenses and post permits are available for purchase at the OIutdoorRrecreation office. The minimum age to hunt on post is 10.
