What do I need to do to sign up for Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Utility (RCMU) electrical service?
All new customers must fill out an Application for Electric Service and pay a deposit equal to two times the average estimated monthly usage of service to establish an account with the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Utility. If your business is a new development (a development without prior electrical service) or if your business has different power requirements from the prior occupant, electrical plans and the Electric Load Information must be submitted with your application for service. Once applications are submitted and reviewed, an RCMU representative will contact you regarding service.
