What do I need to do to satisfy the State of Florida Homeschool Law?
There are several options to satisfy the Homeschool Law in Florida. The two that we provide are personal evaluations and standardized testing. Both need to be administered by a Florida State Certified Teacher, who will upon completion of testing/evaluation, provide you with a letter stating your child has made progress commensurate with his/her ability. The letter should be mailed, return receipt requested, to the Superintendent of the county your child is registered with. As always, keep a copy of all paperwork for your records. The remaining options are listed under the Florida Law page of this website, which was downloaded from the D.O.E., (Department of Education), website. You can also link directly to the D.O.E. website from that document.
