Windows Vista is not fully supported by PhoneSweep 5.4 and earlier. The simplest fix is to upgrade to PhoneSweep 5.5, which has complete Vista support. If you must use PhoneSweep 5.4 or earlier on Windows Vista, the dongle driver needs to be updated.
