What do I need to do to implement a VocaBase® system?
At first, you need structured business data to be published, such as product catalogs, frequently asked questions, or real-time business databases for example. This data is often available in the existing IT systems of your company, such as sales & marketing information systems, accounting systems or Web databases, from which they can easily be exported, even in real-time. Then you need to install a CTI platform on which VocaBase® will run. Finally, you need to configure your application using the VocaBase® Studio, a web-based user interface. This happens in successive steps: description of the data to be published, set-up of database connection, terminology configuration if not yet available in your database, dialog parameters setup, and testing.
