Arabic (It helps to know the language of the people you intend to work with) Anthropology History (world history, non-western civilizations, African history, etc.) languages (perhaps French and Greek) Archeology I don’t know about specific college courses for you to study, but I would guess that the University of Chicago (with its Oriental Institute and proximity to the Field Museum) would be one of the best places to study in the United States.
