Each affected source must demonstrate that its uncontrolled emissions of regulated toxic air pollutants (RTAPs) do not impact the off-site ambient air above the ambient air limits (AALs) established in the rule using one of the three methods described in Env-A 1406. Affected sources that can demonstrate compliance must maintain documentation on site to verify compliance status. All sources were required to be in compliance by May 8, 2001.
