What do I need to bring to take accuplacer?
A picture ID and a “W number” are required. Calculators are not allowed, but scratch paper will be provided. What is my “W number”? The “W number” is the ID assigned to a student when they are admitted. It is printed on Admissions and Registration material. When entering the number into Accuplacer, be sure to use a capitol “W” and use zeros not Os. Please be sure your “W number” is correct so that your information can be entered onto Banner. When may I take Accuplacer? The test is given up until 1 hour before the closing at that particular testing center. Please check the hours on this website. No appointment is necessary. No Accuplacer tests will be given during the week of finals, April 17th – April 22nd on the Ogden Campus. May I take Accuplacer at another institution? The particular Accuplacer format used by WSU is designed for our placement system. For this reason, we cannot accept Accuplacer results from other institutions. The only exceptions are Davis Applied Technology Center
