What do I need in order to run eyeTeknix in terms of hardware and network requirements?
eyeTeknix is a server-based software application that requires a server to be installed within your clinic, and then accessed by client devices in the exam rooms that run Internet Explorer web browsers. PCs, laptops, and tablet PCs can all be used based on the practice’s preference, as long as they include an Internet Explorer web browser (virtually all do). In addition, an office network must be present to access the eyeTeknix server, as well as an internet connection for updates and maintenance to occur.
