what do i include in my Physician Assistants school admition essay?
I applied for psychology graduate schools a few years ago, and this is what I learned from talking to professors. I got into a few and even got scholarships, so their advice was helpful! First of all, attention to detail is SO important. For example (and I realize this is the internet, and not indicative of your professional writing), you had several misspellings and a lot of missed punctuation/capitalization. After you write your admissions essay and run a spellcheck, have some other people proofread it for homonyms (too, to; your, you’re, etc), misused words, and other grammar problems. Second, be genuine. Lots of people and websites will tell you about specific topics or themes that schools are looking for. They’re full of crap. As long as you answer the questions asked and you’re genuine, you should be OK. Express your true reasons for wanting to be a PA, and explain why that specific school is important to you. Don’t, however, be overly gushy or fake. Be yourself. Good luck! PAs a
