Originally, there were only 2 Support Package types in R/3 Release 4.0B: Hot Packages (HP for short) and Change Legal Packages (LCP for short).The LCPs contained all of the HP objects and also any legal changes required for the HR. As you can tell from this description, LCPs can only be released after HPs.However, since legal changes are often required at short notice, these particular Support Packages were delivered as of R/3 Release 4.5B as a separate Support Package category SAP_HR, which no longer contained any HP material.Since this procedure offered several other advantages, it was also introduced for R/3 Release 4.0B.As of LCP 54, HR information is also only available in LCPs in R/3 Release 4.0B.This means that corrections delivered with HPs must now be imported separately.
