You must be recommended by the CFC Teacher Certification Program and receive a bar code in order to take the ExCET/TExES test. Enrollment in the CFC Teacher Certification Program alone does not guarantee recommendation for examination or certification. To receive certification in the state of Texas, you must successfully pass the required certification tests for your certification area.
