What do i do with a Garden Composter?

I agree with everybody else, but you can also add cardboard (corrugated is good) scrunched up paper, kitchen towel, dead flowers, in fact almost anything that will decay and rot down. Twigs take too long and don’t add meat or fish waste or poo from dogs or cats. The main thing is to keep it damp and you’ll find that worms will somehow appear. Where they come from I have no idea, but as a slightly obsessional composter I can assure you that it’s not rocket science to make your own brilliant compost. You will read about putting stuff in in layers and turning the whole lot regularly, but you really don’t need to bother. Just chuck stuff in, keep it damp and let it get on with it.

What is your question?
