What do i do when limewire says it detects a firewall?
You have to set your firewall to allow Limewire to be an exception. If it is the Windows firewall, just go to Start – Control Panel – Windows Firewall, click on that icon, and then go to the 2nd tab, called Excpetions. You may have to add Limewire to the list. Be warned though that limewire will leave an open port connected to it at all times. This can easily be exploited by malware, and the like.
