What do I do when I login and get the message “The specified user is not a Sun Management Center user. This user must be added to the “esusers” configuration file.”?

The file ‘esusers’ contains a list of users that are allowed to use the Sun Management Center server. A user must be added to this file to use Sun Management Center. To add a user name to ‘esusers’, do the following: 1. Log in as root on the host running the Sun Management Center cfgserver component 2. Enter ‘cd /var/opt/SUNWsymon/cfg’ 3. Edit the file ‘esusers’ 4. Add the new user name to the list (user name must be a valid UNIX user name) Note: This change may take a couple of minutes to take effect. Restarting the Console will cause the change to take effect immediately.
