What do I do if the TuneEdit program hangs on startup?
Some customers have had this problem when they first start TuneEdit, this is caused by hitting cancel when the program asks you to select a tune file to open. The TuneEdit program will open but the next time you run TuneEdit it sometimes hangs on startup. To fix this problem you should download the TuneBoy registry cleanup program, run this and click the button to clean out the registry settings. Now start TuneEdit again and this time select the tune file for your bike when it asks you to open a tune file. You will need to set the properties for TuneEdit again and add your key to the TuneEdit keys again as these values are deleted by this program. We are trying to work out what causes this but have not been able to reproduce the problem on our PC’s.
