What do I do if the Enduro ground loops on pavement?
With the simple wire tailskid, the Enduro was designed to operate from grass fields. We don’t advocate flying from paved runways. A few customers who taxi the Enduro on pavement have reported solving groundloop problems by bending the landing gear backward a bit — being careful to preserve the “toe in” angle of the axles. Also, limiting the rudder throw and use of exponential will tame yaw oscillations. A small tailwheel may be used for pavement to help traction in crosswinds, but nothing beats a wire skid sticking into sod for supreme ground handling spins and tricks. return to top • My Enduro flips over on landing or takeoff, What do I do? First check your wheels to be sure they spin freely. Next try bending the gear forward 2 inches or more (using a vise is best, but you can do it at the field by hand if you must). Be careful to preserve the “toe in” angle of the axles so it will track well on the ground. If you’re still having trouble, your field may be really rough and you may be
