Please do the following steps, it is important to do the steps in order. If you have Windows 98, 2000, ME Instruction #1 Please follow these directions. If one step does not work or something is not being shown on your computer just move to the next step. 1. Plug in your player 2. Right click “My Computer” 3. Select “Properties” 4. Select the “Device Manager” tab. (If you do not see it click the hardware tab) 5. Click the Device Manager Button 6. At the bottom of the screen you will see “Universal Serial Bus Controllers”, click the little plus symbol in front of it. 7. Find “FID irock! 500 series” and click on those same words. 8. It should now be highlighted, press delete on your keyboard. 9. The computer will ask if you are sure, click “Yes”. 10. Close the Device Manager and unplug your player. 11. If you have previously installed ir500v13.exe continue, if not skip to step 16. 12. Double click “My Computer”. 13. Double click “Control Panel”. 14. Double click “Add/Remove Programs”. 15
