What do I do if my PC is unable to read the DVD-ROM supplied with my ViaMichelin Navigation X-970?
If your PC fails to detect your DVD-ROM once it is installed in the PC drive, please first ensure that the drive is not restricted to the CD-ROM format. Drives capable of reading DVDs usually feature the logo below: We recommend that you install your ViaMichelin Navigation X-970 software on a PC equipped with the following specifications – • a Pentium microprocessor (200Mhz or higher) • Minimum of 128 Mb of RAM, with 4Gb (Country version) or 6Gb (European version) capacity on the hard disk • DVD-ROM drive • Microsoft Windows 2000, XP (32bits) or Vista (32 bits) operating system • Internet connection to activate the DVD-ROM and download POIs or patches Please note also that ViaMichelin Navigation X-970 installation software is not compatible with Macintosh systems.
