What do I do if my organisation is a water report entity and its area overlaps with another water report entity?
It is possible for water report entities, physical or organisational, to overlap. Exactly which reports are prepared depends on users’ needs. In the example of the Murray-Darling Basin, each state might prepare a GPWAR for the part of the basin located within its borders. In addition, the Murray-Darling Basin Authority might prepare a consolidated GPWAR of the whole basin. Each GPWAR must comply with the requirements of AWAS and the WACF.
