Tixylix® Baby Syrup is not affected by these changes and you can continue to use with infants from 3 months old. If your child is aged 6 to 10, you can still use Tixylix® Chesty Cough and Tixylix® Dry Cough in accordance with the recommended dosage instructions. However, it is now not recommended that you should give them to children under 6. The MHRA have advised that these products will not be removed from shelves and can continue to be sold for use in children 6 and over until the newly labelled packaging is introduced. Tixylix® will be relabelling these products as soon as possible to reflect the new age recommendations. Tixylix® Night Cough and Tixylix® Cough & Cold contain a combination of active ingredients which under the new MHRA advice can now only be used in children 6 and over.
