Complete a FLSA Comp Time Reporting Form and attach it to a copy of the supporting Grid Sheets. Send both the form and the grid sheet attachment to the Office of Personnel Services, Attention: Mike Sorrells (WRD should first send their forms to Nanette Arnold in Social Circle). Important note: FLSA Comp time cannot be credited and used until it has been approved by the Office of Personnel Services. After identifying FLSA time, then compute GA Comp time. All merit and non-merit associates are eligible to earn GA Comp time. However there are two different sets of rules: one for merit and non-merit associates who are non-exempt from the FLSA. And a second for those merit and non-merit associates exempt from the FLSA. GA time is computed on time in pay status. Time in Pay status includes all time (work, leave, and holidays) for which an associate receives pay. It would also include Comp time taken. It obviously does not include time on Leave Without Pay.
