Provision has been made in the law for pharmacists to provide registered professional nurses with syringes, needles and immunizing agents. Procurement of such items may be considered a wholesale transaction. However, a wholesale registration does NOT have to be made with the State Board of Pharmacy in order for the pharmacist to provide you with such items.
