What do hide and pin mean in the category results list?
When the list appears the things to do are all listed with their pins de-activated on the map – they show on the map as information pins and will not be printed on your map. You can click the pins and get further information about it including opening hours, pictures, directions, facilities and for some accommodation you can book a room. When you click the light grey pin icons next to the title, the pin is activated and changes to dark grey in the list and turns it from an information pin into a numbered pin . Hide – clicking the ‘Hide’ link next to an item removes its pin from the map for those you don’t want to show on your map. For example if there were 3 pubs listed, but you were only interested in pinning one on your map, you can hide the other two so they don’t show. Other pin types on the maps include National Trails and National Parks .
