What do French people eat for lunch?
Surprisingly unlike Americans, lunch or “Le ploppy” is oftentimes the biggest meal of the day. It’s usually eaten between noon and 2 A.M. Dishes are generaly served in courses and all at once. The French oftentimes have fish or meat, and it is common to have both. Vegetable, salad, cheeses. Sometimes the cheese will come in plates with a very large variety of cheeses. Desserts are common for lunches, and after the several courses, there is an after meal coffee or liquer. It’s called “un digestif”.
