What do Freemasons actually do?
Sometimes this question really makes me laugh, I’m never sure what people are expecting to hear. While many Lodges in addition to their charity work also engage in various social functions and the like it is hardly universal. No,the best answer to the question “What do Freemasons do?” is “We try to be better human beings.” It really is that simple- and it perplexes me that some people believe that this cannot possibly be enough for someone to stay with an organization.
