What do each of the 9012 service menu commands do?

The options are as follows: “Demo Mode”: This is described in section 1.1.4. “Restore Factory Default”: Deletes all recorded programs, and resets all user settings to factory defaults. “Format Hard Drive”: Reformats the hard drive (self explanatory). It is unclear whether this only reformats the partition that contains recorded programs, or the entire drive. “Reset User Configuration”: Resets all user information to the factory default, but leaves the recorded programs intact. This doesn’t appear to reset the TVGOS system, but it may ask you to confirm your zip code. “TV Guide”: This is the TVGOS sub-menu, which contains two more items: “Reset to Factory Defaults”: This menu will return the TVGOS system to factory defaults.
