What do coordinate systems have to do with camera/view paths?
Each view path has associated with it a single coordinate system. This coordinate system affects the motion of the view path and the view path camera as time progresses. For example, imagine one view path with an ECI coordinate system, and this view path has just one keyframe. Suppose there’s a second view path, also with one keyframe, but with an ECF coordinate system. When animating the scenario, you’ll notice that the ECF view path seems to rotate with the earth, whereas the ECI coordinate system appears to remain stationary (assuming that the 3D window’s coordinate system is ECI).
